Cucharita

Does 'cucharita' translate as 'little spoon' (for sugar)?

Is there another Spanish word we could use?

Many thanks.

I would use 'teaspoon' as the translation here, but cucharita can certainly mean 'little spoon', since it is the diminutive of cuchara.

In Argentina (I don't know if in other bordering countries the same applies) to do "cucharita" is to sleep or rest like this:

Regards.
