How to search for previous

Hello

How can I search for a previous response to a question I asked several months ago?

Thank you

Access your profile page by clicking on your user name found on the right-hand side of the forum index page. Select the 'Statistics' tab found on your profile page when that appears, and then click on either the 'Find all posts by user_name' or 'Find all threads started by user_name' link found in the 'Total Posts' section.

If you know some of the words used in a previous thread, you can search for threads that contain certain words.
Starting at the forum index page, just under the 'Ask a Question' button, you'll see a tool bar. The first link on the tool bar is 'Control Panel'. Scan to the right until you find the 'Search' link and click it.
On the display that appears, click 'Advanced search'.

On the page that appears next, look on the right for 'Search by User Name'. Type your user name in the box provided. After a couple of letters, your name will appear as a choice and you can click on it so you don't have to completely type it in by hand.
You have the choice of specifying 'Find Posts by User' or 'Find Threads Started by User' under the box where you entered your user name.

On the left-hand side of the page, you can enter any words that you remember being in the post(s) in the 'Search by Keyword' section.

Scroll down the page and press 'Search Now' after entering your search criteria.
