¡Gracias!

Now I have question - my wife is very gregarious - very much a "people" person and when we're on essential shopping trips she occasionally forgets and converses with strangers; what should I call to her so that nobody else (in UK) will understand. Yesterday I called "¡Por favor apártate de esa gente!" but she just glared at me. Would "¡Aléjate!" be better?

She is a very chatty, friendly soul and finds it hard to supress her sociable nature!

Should it be "Esos personas" or "Esa gente"?

There are a dozen ways you can say it and what you said is fine.

¡Aléjate de la gente!
¡Mantén tu distancia de las personas!
¡Cuida la distancia!

etc.

"Shift yerself you daft woman!", is probably as good as owt!

Very common colloquial northern English; = "¡Apartate, tonta!".

Should that be "¡Apártate!"?
