What Does This Saying Mean?

I understand each word, but together it doesn't quite make sense to me.

The saying isn't quite right. See if the corrected version helps you any.

Still not really sure. Best translation I can come up with is "What is meant for one, comes with time, and what is not, goes away with time."

I have no doubts that that's the correct way, but I don't understand it.

¿Entiendes?
