Quedarse a dos velas

Hola, sabe alguien el equivalente en inglés ?
Significa sufrir carencia o escasez de dinero
también se puede usar en otros contextos como me dejo a dos velas, cuando no haces nada sexualmente.

Depending on the context: to be broke, to be left none the wiser. In Spanish you can also say: quedarse a verlas venir.
