¿Por qué no pronombres posesivos?

Deben ser "su/tu pasaporte" y "mi cartera"?

A mí éste parece mejor.

When ownership is obvious, as in your sentences, the definite article is used instead of the possessive adjective (possessive pronouns are different than possessive adjectives).

I agree with Rusty. That kind of construction is pleonastic in Spanish, even if it's sometimes used in colloquial speech. You can see a discussion on this here.

¿Mientras está aquí, son iguales estas 2 oraciones? Sé que el adjetivo por lo general va después del sustantivo pero 2 de los 3 las traducciones automáticas en SpanishDict tenían "muy buena" antes "lección".

Both constructions are equally valid and common in this case.
Where we place adjectives like "bueno", "nuevo", "malo", etc., is sometimes a matter of emphasis, but most of the time it's rather a matter of euphony. Placing the adjective before the noun normally makes an emphasis on the quality, but I think here it just sounds a little better before the noun.
