This forum has a menu with question/admiration marks and accents over reply boxes, but if you're writing somewhere else, Windows has a tool named "character map" which allows you to copy all kinds of symbols included with every font installed in your PC in any text box that will allow "paste" function.

If you're going to use ASCII code, you must turn your numeric pad on and make a combination with alt and the numbers Nicachica has listed.

I had the same problem. You can set up alternative keyboards on your computer without buying a new keyboard.I have English, German, French and Spanish installed on my computer. Details follow.

Spanish Keyboard

º1234567890’¡
qwertyuiop`+
asdfghjklñ´ç
<zxcvbnm,.-

ª!”·$%&/()=?¿
QWERTYUIOP^*
ASDFGHJKLѨÇ
>ZXCVBNM;:_

To install a Spanish Keyboard

Click on Start
Select and click on Control Panel
Select and click on Regional and Language Options
Scroll down language options to find Spanish (Spain) or other option. Now click OK
You can now activate your new keyboard layout
Click on the small blue square [EN] icon of the language bar (usually on the task bar near the bottom right hand side of your screen)
Select and click [ES]
Your main keyboard is still QWERTY, but the extra Spanish letters (Ñ Ç) and punctuation symbols (¿ and ¡) appear outside the English alphabetic area.
Apart from the full stop, comma and exclamation mark, all other punctuation marks have moved.
This keyboard works with all fonts and text writing applications (including e-mails)
Don’t worry if you can’t find £, [ ], { }, as you can toggle freely between [EN] and [ES] at any time!

You can do it with the control panel

I made a bit search in the website How can you change the language of the keyboard of your computer?

It's very easy to does in the computer only you have to know some steps to do the change to language of your computer, it be a laptop or desktop they are both are the same.

Although you can use the tools that this website has when you are writing some text in your high control there is a tool that you can use to set letter that in English you can't set.

it's appear as Accents.

Anyway I give you this information, I hope you can do the change to language soon.

Irmamar already mentioned this, in Spanish, but it's possible to use the 'Accents' drop-down menu, found just above the input box.

Every special character you'll need to type Spanish is in there.

There's an old thread about this here. http://forums.tomisimo.org/showthread.php?t=234

1. Here on the forums you can use the dropdown box in the editor to add accented letters.
2. If you're going to use a given computer for awhile, install the Spanish keyboard input method (even if you physical keyboard is in English). the semicolon key is the ñ, and for accents, use the single quote key once, followed by the vowel you want the accent over. Quick and easy.
3. If you're using a computer for just a few minutes, use the alt codes: (here's a printable image I made about 10 years ago. )

Oh, I see now. Thanks!

Edit: I completely forgot about searching, and when I posted about how you type in accents (a couple posts above), I didn't see that there was a second page to the thread.

Thanks to everyone, again.

Check your function (Fn) and NumLock (the one with a lock drawing) keys. A combination them must turn it on/off.
