Una 'start-up'
Does ‘la start-up’ below refer to a ‘start-up company’ or is there another meaning for this expression? The phrase is taken from the paragraph below:
Many thanks in advance. |

Yes, this is a start-up company; in the context, they manufacture the product. If this was found in a financial news section, then maybe most of the public knows what a start-up company is, but I had to look it up. So "una compañía nueva" would be my first choice in Spanish.
