Well there are other terms that I call her but they aren't loving but said in anger. It would be cool to hear those in espñol as well but I think the admins do not like vulgar talk.

You would start an email to a friend saying: Querida Susan.
You wouldn't call your mother cariño, cielo... But a mother would use those words when talking to her kids.
Mi vida can be used for your husband or your kids.
Some people also use 'cari' for their spouses.

In Chile we also use, perrita/o, flaquita/o, gordita/o etc...

It doesn't matter if the last two are true. Flaco=slim gordo=fat

Hehe, soy más interesado en los nombres para los animales domestico. ¿Que se llaman sus perros? Tengo dos perras, me llamo las 'Charlie' y 'Veruca' (pero usualmente dice 'Rooka' en vez de 'Veruca'). Y sí, Charlie es hembra.
