Dar mono

 

An idiom is an expression whose meaning is not readily apparent based on the individual words in the expression. This forum is dedicated to discussing idioms and other sayings.

Dar mono

My strong guess it that it means dar ánimo, but I have been wrong before. Anyway, is it a commonly used idiom?

I need the whole text.
Usually "tener el mono" it's to to have withdrawal symptoms / "cold turkey", so "dar el mono" means to have a withdrawal attack.

To hide something, wrap it in [hide][/hide] tags.
You can do that manually or, if you're replying in the 'Reply to Thread' box instead of the 'Quick Reply' box, you can just highlight the text you want to hide and click the icon above the Smilies that has a hand covering its eyes.
