A degree from "Panthéon - Sorbonne / Toulouse 1 Capitole" or from "La Sapienza"

Talk about anything here, just keep it clean.

A degree from "Panthéon - Sorbonne / Toulouse 1 Capitole" or from "La Sapienza"

The thing is the following.
I've the opportunity to study an argentinian carreer that gives me two degrees, the argentinian one, and a degree from a French Universitie (one of the two I named in the title) or in La Sapienza (Italy)
The carrers(Economy) are quite the same -one with italian subjects and the other with some french subjects. I don't know which title is "worth" more, so I hope that you (europians) can advise me.
The first difference I see is that the French one is "Maitre..."(Teacher... or Master, I don't know) and the Italian one "Laure"(Degree in..." which is the difference?
I need to know how are those French universities in comparison with La Sapienza, and all what you can add is really welcome! Thanks in advance.

This are the titles:

Italian "La Sapienza" title: Laurea in Economia, Finanza e Diritto per la Gestione D’Impresa or

French
"Panthéon - Sorbonne" or "Toulouse 1 Capitole" title: Maitre en Sciencies Economiques

I don't specifically know about the universities, but the university of Paris-Sorbonne is a big name. Now that I've researched it, Panthéon-Sorbonne is a different university, but it would look good on your CV and impress people who don't do the research

You would need to get more precise titles to compare directly, because the titles given don't correspond with the names of the new degrees under the Bologna system. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bologna_process

Gracias.

I agree with Pjt. Sorbonne is well known in Europe (it could be compared with Oxford).

sosia has a spectacular aura aboutsosia has a spectacular aura about
http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universidad_de_Toulouse

http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Sorbona

http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Univers...La_Sapienza%22

http://ideas.repec.org/top/top.econdept.html
y aqui, apartado 6. CLASIFICACIONES DE DEPARTAMENTOS ESPAÑOLES
http://www.uned.es/personal/rosuna/r...s/rankings.htm

You don't have anything Tolousse!

Por fin me he aclarado.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toulous...ocial_Sciences

Quote:
UT1 is a world leader in research in industrial economics (ranked fifth in the world for publications in IO/business economics after Harvard, UC Berkeley, Chicago, and Stanford by econphd.net), with many well-known international researchers and Ph.D. students from all over the world.
Quote:
Within the Faculty, the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) offers a two-year M.A. of the highest European standard. A generalist first year (M1) opens up to second year (M2) professionally or research-oriented programmes
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toulous...(ESC_Toulouse)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Univers...theon-Sorbonne

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sorbonn...usiness_School

http://www.eduniversal.com/business-...ce/toulouse/72
y aqui
http://www.eduniversal.com/business-...rance/paris/72
4 palmas el master y 3 la escuela Pantheon

y sorprendentemente La sapienza consigue también 4 palmas
http://www.eduniversal.com/business-...italy/rome/105

http://ideas.repec.org/top/top.inst.all.html
Roma no aparece...
