Ha Ha Ha! At least today I could laugh (while) reading your jokes. Your jokes (They) were very good.

En inglés, decimos Ha Ha Ha! en vez de jajaja. Como no podemos leer la risa (laughter), puse jokes. En la última frase, te faltan la cópula to be (conjugated as were) y el órden correcto (sustantivo, cópula, predicado adjetivo).

Rusty, cópula is perfect Spanish for what you mean, but one could think you are not speaking about grammar. Te falta la cópula, well, at least he got to first level base...

You know I was talking about grammar, a linking verb!

We say at least he got to first base, by the way.

You can also say: verbo copulativo which sounds less provocative.
