I have heard about this mine before, thanks for gathering so much info all together in one place about it. Truly sad to think that these conditions still exist, and worse that they have been going on for hundreds of years.
There is a film called The Devil's Miner (not sure the Spanish name) that documents the life of two very young boys (maybe 14?) who work in a mine in Bolivia. I recommend it if you're interested in the topic.
