Need help translating please
I teach my neice, who is home schooled, Spanish. We have started on a Spanish 2 book, but it is different than the first one. I cannot find some of the words anywhere to determine what they mean in order to translate this sentence:
Dime con quien andas y te dire (with an accent mark on the "e")quien eres. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As I stated, some of these words I cannot find to define nor have they been introduced in the previous book. Thanks, AngieNC |

Dime and diré both come from the verb decir. Dime means tell me and diré means I will tell you. These are conjugations of decir. Andas is a conjugation of andar (to walk, to be) and eres is a conjugation of ser (to be)
Dime con quien andas y te diré quien eres Tell me with whom you walk and I will tell you who you are. (literal) Tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are. (meaning) BTW, welcome to the forums.
