Lio de cuerdecitas
Here is a phrase from Tintin comic book.
CONTEXT: The captain has hit his head accidentally on a tent PHRASE: Cuando se fabricaran tiendas que se tengan de pie sin todo ese lio de cuerdecitas. MY TRANSLATION: When will the build tents you can set your foot in without all this ?? Can't translate lio de cuerdecitas in any dictionary. |

cuerdecitas is the plural diminutive of cuerda (rope), in this case, the use of a diminutive doesn't mean they're small but the captain shows contempt about them.
