Predicción
I’m looking for a different way to express the sentence below. It has been taken from the paragraph underneath. My attempt is below in bold italics. Is it grammatically correct? Any other suggestions would be very helpful.
… las previsiones para los próximos años… Las predicciones (las proyecciones / los cálculos) para el futuro cercano… Prueba de ello son las “cifras escalofriantes” sobre las consecuencias de su consumo en el siglo XX, cuando causó más de 100 millones de muertes, y las previsiones para los próximos años, ya que se estima que entre los años 2000 y 2050 fallecerán otros 450 millones de personas por este motivo, ha destacado Miguel Martín, presidente de SEOM.
