Must 'mucho' match gender and quantity?
When using mucho/a(s) is it just to match gender and quanity? (So a sentence like Spanish has a lot of information would be Español tiene mucha información.)

Tiene mucha información.
Sí, ahí actúa a modo de adjetivo. También cabe la posiblidad de usar "un montón" (resulta tanto usual como idiomático) al igual que nosotros utilizamos "a lot" para eludir la distinción entre sustantivos contables e incontables cuando estamos dudosos. |

Yes, when 'mucho' is used as an adjective, it must agree in gender and number with the noun it modifies.
