¿Me podéis corregir esas frases? Quiero saber si en español se traduce esas frases literalmente o en español el objecto hace el acción y no la persona al acción.

"He had a float before but he lost it."
"Tenía un flotador antes pero lo perdio." o "pero se perdio"

He spilt water on it and got it all wet.
"Derramó agua encima de ello y lo mojó o " y se mojó"

You put it in the oven.
"Lo metes en el horno" o "se mete en el horno."
