Guadalajara

The situation is very hard nowadays in México.
Because as you have watched in the news the flooding will follow in our country.

Take care.

San Miguel de Allende is a very fine place to visit and would recommend a stay there. There are many small an fine hotels located in colonial buildings. Check out their website, It is very close to Queretaro City which is also a nice place to visit. Neither of these two places are very far from Gaudalajara which is famous for the Tapatia and church architecture that rivals the best baroque of Europe.

I'm envious - had a friend years ago from Jalisco; could really play guitar
and put corridos to music - "...Jalisco, no te rajes..." "Guadalajara, sabes apura que te mojara..." "Juan Charrasquiado"...

One of these days I'll go visit there, too.

"Juan Charrasqueado" is a "corrido", but "Ay, Jalisco, no te rajes" and "Guadalajara" are not... they're just "canciones rancheras".

You may need a sweater at night. Many of the old Mexican cities, Guadalajara included, are high above sea level, so despite the latitude it gets chile
