Question To take credit where credit is due

¿Recibir el mérito donde se ha ameritado?
¿Recibir el mérito donde se merece/nos lo merecemos?

¿Alguna idea mejor?

Ah, gracias. Después de poner mi post pensé que quizá se diga más "give credit where credit is due". Tus opciones son muy buenas. Muchas gracias.

Yes, that is correct. It should be "to give credit where credit is due".
