Hello and a little advice please

English Male 35
Hello,
Hi everyone I have decided I want to try and learn Spanish and I have decided to start with Rosetta Stone. I was wondering though is it ok to use multiple techniques at the same time or would you just use the one system?

Some helpful advice on this and some pointers would be appreciated here thank you.

Welcome!

You may find that more than one system will be beneficial. It is ultimately up to your own abilities in grasping concepts. Some people like and do well with a certain system, while others enjoy something completely different.

My advice has always been that you befriend a native speaker (more than one is even better). The ear training you'll get while listening to a native speaker is of utmost importance. If you're extremely lucky, your friend will know some grammar and will be able to help you in that regard. But, if not, you can ask your grammar questions here. Try out everything you're learning on your friend and don't be afraid to ask "What is this|that?" and "How do you say ...?"

Allow yourself the time it takes.

Good job.
Spell out numbers, especially when they begin a sentence (same rule applies in English).
Here in the forums, you may address the lector in the second person (familiar form). (You had the correct formal command.) I left it in the singular form that you had, but it could also have been written in the plural form.
