Question Asset- any ideas?

Ok guys, I need your help on this if I can. I need a good generic way of translating asset into Spanish, so that it can mean basically anything from goods, property, personell, pretty much anything that can be an asset.

Ok, that's good Sosia, but I need more help. how would you say it in the singular?

For example, in the Jason Bourne movies, the hit men (murderers) are called assets, as in "let's bring the asset up from Tangiers to kill him". Would you translate that with recurso? I don't think medio would work here.

It could be medios/recursos
"traigamos de Tangiers los medio/recursos para matarlo" (it can be a person, a machine, etc.)
but ina ction films, the persons are called "efectivos" and the weapons "medios" or "recursos"
"triagamos efectivos de Tangiers para matarlo"

saludos

Hola.......

Yo usaría la palabra .. BIENES.......

ya sea bienes raices
bienes bancarios
bienes líquidos

etc........
