I translated the English sentence. The Spanish is sketchy at best too. :-)

Well, I'm not sure, but I think that in "riding on shrieking horses", "shrieking" is referred to horses, not to people. I could say "riding on white horses". In can't see any difference.

Another thing would be: I've seen shrieking people riding...

Am I wrong?

Now, shrieking is not the the same as neighing but I took it as such. Had to.
