Cierto, los huaraches (también se llaman memelas) son como los sopes, pero más grandes y alargados. La diferencia en ingredientes es que a los sopes normalmente se les pone pollo deshebrado o chorizo y a los huaraches se les pone cualquier tipo de carne.

La masa de las gorditas se rellena en crudo, se cuece y luego se abre para ponerle lechuga, queso y salsa.

Nunca he probado las arepas, pero es seguro que será parte de mis curiosidades cuando pueda viajar a Sudamérica.
