Da como cosa
This is a free-standing phrase. I think it means: it gives me a bad feeling but I'm not sure.

More than bad feeling it means strange feeling, although it can mean "bad feeling", too: Me da una cosa (in Spain is more used "me da (una) cosa" than "me da como cosa") que me toques con esas uñas tan largas. Me da cosa que arañen la pizarra (dentera) Also "me da impresión" is used. |

Por ejemplo: I met him and was really impressed with what he said. La inferencia es siempre positiva. Para ser negativo tiene que añadir adverbos. Ejemplo: I met him and was really not impressed with what he said.
