¿You're talking about the war of the roses?
It's the only one we call civil, concerning England (Britain). You like clipart, if you play a bit with roses, you may come out with a good one! The webs below are simple descriptions on the war that may give you some ideas. http://www.jeulin.net/Roses.htm http://www.helpforenglish.cz/cz/real...the-Roses.html Last edited by Planet hopper; November 12, 2008 at 10:40 PM. |

You can use the union Flag.
Make a cartoon with an english regiment, an irish regiment, and a scottish regiment, each with his own flag, all going to fight converging to one point. They crash, and at the end cartoon you see the union flag and all the people looking at it surprised. saludos

It's OK, might work, if I were the teacher I'd say Scotland and Ireland were not a concept of the time. I'd advice to use England's flag. The union jack was created quite a bit of time later.

Do you mean the Revolutionary War. Perhaps the British the American Revolution as a civil war at first.

It's in England, not the USA. It's called the English Civil War

Oh, now I know what you're talking about (I was reminded after checking
Wikipedia)... the brief pause in British monarchy Oliver Cromwell, and the sordid details that lead to the Irish question..
