Hola! coma esta'

(I hope the greeting was pretty close). I was reading comments on my YouTube site when I ran across this post. I'll type exactly as posted.

Nossa vc ta de parabens vc toca muito eu tambem toco bateria mais nem tando assi igual vc.

I'm very limited in spanish but hope to change that soon by taking lessons. But until then can someone help me understand this post?
Thanks, T. Gordon

It's not Spanish, so I only understand part. They are telling you you play the drums very well. The person in question can also play. Sorry I cannot tell you more.

Its portuguese. Some words translate but I do not understand the whole
sentence. What ever the vc is, it is unequaled. It seems like an advertisement. Their vc does various things. Is it a musical instrument? It either runs on batteries or plays drums.

My daughter plays drums and received that comment. So, it's Portuguese you say? I was able to find maybe 3 words that translated in spanish; toco(snag/stub);nem(of one mind);igual which could mean any of these definitions alike, equal, level, match, constant, coordinate, even,j ust like, one, same, smooth, peer and unchanging. I'm so confuuused!!!

I agree that it's Portuguese, and after doing a quick Google translation, I'm still in the dark as to what it really means. Here's the automatic translation:

nossa vc ta de parabens vc toca muito eu tambem toco bateria mais nem tando assi igual vc

Kj our ta-parabens vc plays very well I play drums or more savannah signed equal kj

EDIT: Here's my try: (Who knows if it's right )

Our VC plays really good, I play drums too, better or the same as VC.

EDIT2: I also took the liberty of merging the two original posts into this one thread. No hard feeling tethgor, just trying to keep things tidy.

Hi,

Welcome to the forums!
Your greeting, which was pretty close, should be: ¡Hola! ¿Cómo está?

As everyone else told you, the comments you found on YouTube were written in Portuguese, not Spanish.
The comments are poorly written.

Here is what it should say:
Nossa! Você tá de parabéns. Você toca muito bem. Eu também toco bateria mas nem tanto assim igual você.

Here is the translation:
Wow! Congratulations. You play very well. I also play the drums but not as well as you.
