A hole in the sky

I've heard this in a couple songs .

One of them is "As above , so below" from Y. Malmsteen ( i Know , he's Swedish ) , but in some other songs there is the same words.

Do you know any special meaning to that ??

thank you so much

A Google search indicates it a song by Black Sabbath. Hole in the sky--gateway to heaven.

There is a music festival in Bergen Norway named after the song.

I think it refers to the climactic condition in which rays of sun shine
through a hole in the clouds, like God in Cecil B. Demille movies
