Breaking into

How do I translate the words “breaking into” in the following phrase?

Cyberbullying also includes breaking into another person’s electronic communication.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think the best term would be the simplest one: "meterse".

"Se metieron a su cuenta bancaria"
"Se le metió un hacker al computador"
"La esposa trató de meterse a su correo electrónico"

"Meterse" is the usual verb and it implies that the person who does it is going to commit a crime.

I agree with Luna, but only for daily speech.
In written formal language, I'd prefer Alec's "violar una cuenta de correo electrónico".

However, I'd rather propose something a little more "affected" for what seems to be an official communication:

El acoso cibernético incluye el acceso no autorizado a la comunicación electrónica de otra persona.
