Meaning of 'perdita durango'

Google translate is not helping.

I know this is simple, but I cannot find the meaning. It's the title of a movie (that I think some of you have seen).

What does "perdita durango" mean?

En el film, Perdita Durango es el nombre propio de una prostituta mexicana.
Perdita es también una palabra italiana que significa 'waste' o 'lost'. Creo que se podría entender como "Perdida Durango". O estoy yendo muy allá con la fantasía.
De todos modos el nombre Perdita, acento en la 'i', lo usó Shakespeare en la obra The Winter's Tale.

Efectivamente, Perdita Durango es una película de Alex de la Iglesia, y debido a su vida de perdida , porque en español un sinónimo de puta sería perdida, el director usa el término italiano Perdita que echándole imaginación rima con cerdita y Durango es una localidad vasca. No olvidemos que el director es de origen vasco y si no recuerdo mal, también hay una localidad con ese nombre en México.
Conclusión es un nombre original que se queda en la mente del espectador y hace que tome interés por el film.
La película es entretenida pero un poco fuerte.
