Words starting with ñ

I recently found an article, that I think contained much useful information.
Basically the article said:
There are words starting with ñ.
Those will either come from Latinamerican Spanish or are words used by gangsters / thiefs (a.k.a sort of slang).

Now I'd like to know if this information is right

  • ñoqui: gnocchi (a type of Italian food like a potato dupling) In Italian gn=ñ
  • ñandú: rhea (a type of bird)
  • ñoñería: inanity, nonsense
  • ñoño: dull, squeamish
  • ñora: a type of red pepper
  • ñu: gnu
