Is there any difference?
Hello everybody,
I would like if there is any difference between: - general stock exchange - general stock exchanges I am not sure which one is better. Thank you in advance |

Yes. As a noun in most contexts, including in these two expressions, the word "exchange" is countable.
As a singular countable noun, "General stock exchange" requires an article or another determiner, such as "a/the", "this/that", "my/your/our/his/her/their", and so on, and it refers to a business that brokers the sale of stock from one third party to a different third party.
