I think 'to stuff yourself' is already an idiom of sorts.
(Eventhough 'go stuff yourself' for example means 'get lost', 'get stuffed')

Perhaps 'to wolf down' but this is more to eat a lot in very little time (when being extremely hungry for instance).

'To eat like a pig' or 'to pig out'.

'To binge', ' binge-eating'.

A period of unrestrained, immoderate self-indulgence.
b. A period of excessive or uncontrolled indulgence in food or drink: an eating binge.

'To splurge'.
The latter one can be used more broadly however, also pertaining to spending lavish or excessive amounts of money e.g.

"Ponerse morado" in Mexico is not to be breathing.

Juan dejó de respirar hasta que se puso morado y luego cayó mareado al piso.
Juan stopped breathing until his face turned purple and then he fell dizzy on the floor.

Ah, me hiciste recordar una pequeña poesía de niños que dice:

Mi casa es chiquita como una pepita de ají, pero tengo el corazón grande para quererte a ti. :-)
