Lightbulb Estar en su terreno

Estar en su terreno means to be in their own territory, I don´t know if this is right or you say it differently. Thanks.

¿Contexto? En fútbol sería "To play at home". Si se trata de geopolítica tu traducción está bien. Si es el terreno de un particular es mejor traducirlo land o property.

El contexto sería por ejemplo en un trabajo, si eres ponente de un curso a profesores, estás en su terreno porque son profesores también.

I see Robin is still asking good questions..

Maybe 'On your own turf' ..?

Quote:
3 : an area or a place that you control or that feels like your home [count] ▪ gangs defending/protecting their turfs ▪ The team beat us on our own turf. [=we were defeated at home] [noncount] ▪ gangs defending/protecting their turf ▪ The team played on home turf.

¡Gracias, y de nada!

I've been a little busy/preoccupied lately so unfortunately didn't have enough time for Spanish or being on the forum. But I hope to brush up and start improving my Spanish again which I have every faith I may, having great help from all of you, as per always !
