- Let's go to the house of my friend!
¡Vamos a la casa de amigo mío! - Let's go to the house of a friend of mine [special, beloved, best, that one I talked about before / not a friend of yours, but mine]!

The phrase more correct and right for you.
Me gusta mi vida.

You're refer to your own taste of your life, you love your life.

Now if you are saying there.
Me gusta la vida.

I like to living.

I'm not sure in the translation.

There are saying ( The living is the best for you)
Something common between the humans.

Now here you will have the propriety of the is yours.

Ese libro es mio.

That books is mine.

"Ese es mi libro" is ok. "Ese es el libro mio" would be strange, unless it's said in a poem, then it's ok.

*** pjt33, but "Me gusta la vida" and "Me gusta mi vida" are two things completely different. You can like your life and not the life of the person that is beside you, so you like your life but not THE life in general terms.

Yes, it's correct, but I think it's not the common/natural oral way, unless it's a poem. Is by faaaaaaaaaar more used the other way.

Interesante.

Decir "me gustas mucho, vida mía" o "te quiero mucho, vida mía" quiere decir "I love you dearly my darling"!

@HomoVulgaris. Correcto. (Pero un par de correcciones)
¡Vamos a [la] casa de mi amigo! - Let's go to the house of my friend!
- Let's go to the house of a friend of mine [special, beloved, best, that one I talked about before / not a friend of yours, but mine]!
