Darse un piro

Darse el piro = marcharse = to make oneself scarce (colloquial), to split (colloquial).
also "pirarse" and "pirárselas"

pirárselas (Esp familar) to take to one’s heels, to leg it (colloquial), to make oneself scarce (colloq)
