"A storm in a teacup" but what does it mean? I'm guessing that it's something about trouble or problem. Can someone give an example, using this in a sentence?

Thank you.

"A tempest in a teapot," or "a storm in a teacup," refers to someone exaggerating a problem or making a small problem seem much worse than it is.

Of a thousand invited guests, she was worried about the handful that didn't show. What a tempest in a teapot.

"Much ado about nothing" is a similar phrase.
John fussed the whole night about overtipping the waiter at the restaurant. Much ado about nothing.

Thanks, Rusty. So it is similar in meaning also with these English sayings: Making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Sweating the small things.
