Game

I´m learning Catalan and this morning we did a very nice game, it was a bit of spelling, grammar , vocabulary and one word answer riddle, it was fun and very productive, does anybody know anything similar in English?
The class was divided in 3 teams, and we had 15 minutes to answer all the questions, then we checked the answers and the winners were those with the most correct anwers. if you know of any links or books or tv programs please let me know I´m really interested. Any level will work just fine.

While I'm not really familiar with this particular game, I think it sounds pretty interesting and would be interested in learning more about this.

Was this just something that the instructor made up on their own or was it something they happened to find somewhere?

She had a book, it´s based on a Tv program and she had the contents in the book and made photocopies of one chapter.
For catalan it´s very suitable, because catalan speakers use a lot of castilian words when using catalan.

:confused: Castilian words? :thinking: Maybe these similar words are caused by their common past. :D ;)

It´s on tv3, I don´t remember what it´s called but it has got the following sections:
la paraula maldita
la frase desfeta
la doble pregunta
lletra a lletra
dictat final
La verità, l´he trovat molt divertit.
Et poso un exeimple:
La paraula maldita: 1. palillo ................ es diu dir escuradents
la frase desfeta: has de ordenar les paraules de la llista per saber quina frase ha dit un personatge molt conegut
la doble pregunta- de que es el gelat? retard ...........de mòra.
lletra a lletra- pelutx- pelix
dictat final- triar la forma d´escriure correcta. xoriço- xorisso
