I'm with Perikles: "Hacer una reverencia" is the one I'd chose at first.
"Inclinarse" may be fine as well.
- El mayordomo hizo una reverencia y salió del comedor.
- Nos inclinamos ante el rey cuando lo vimos pasar.

The trouble is it can have a wider meaning when with an object:
to bow your head in shame
to bow to the inevitable
no respect involved here :thinking:
