Hello, I'm psychic duck from London in England, I am just starting to learn Spanish

and I thought I could better answers from proper people to my question rather than Google

my first question:

what is the verb to be and to have in Spanish, and is there an informal and formal word for you are like in French

If somebody could start me off with and tell me the Spanish for those two verbs I would be very grateful

There are many places you can go to see verb conjugation charts. Even Tomísimo has one. :) (Upper left-hand quadrant of screen - instead of 'Dictionary', select 'Conjugations' - type in the infinitive and press the 'search' icon)
As you can see, there are two 'to be' verbs - ser and estar.
I also gave you the infinitive for 'to have' - tener. This 'have' shouldn't be confused with the English helping verb 'have'. That's another verb (haber).

The subject pronouns that accompany English verbs are not always needed in Spanish. This is because the verb ending often conveys the person. Where this is true, I have embedded the subject pronoun in parentheses.

Only the present indicative tense was provided above. There are several other tenses to learn after you've mastered the present tense.
