Hi, Aiman! Welcome to the forums!

¡Hola, Aiman! ¡Bienvenido a los foros!

There are many ways to start learning Spanish. It partly depends on how you like to learn, and it partly depends on what resources you have that you can use. It also depends on whether you want to study by yourself at home or you want to take a class with a teacher.

A common place to start is to learn some simple greeetings, how to introduce yourself to another person, and how to ask another person for their name. Here are some examples.

Buenos días, ¿cómo está usted? = Good morning/day, how are you (formal/polite)
¿Cómo estás (tú)? = How are you (familiar or informal, use with friends or children)
(Yo) estoy bien, gracias, ¿y tú/usted?. = I'm well, thank you, and you?
¿Cómo se llama usted? = What is your name? (formal, polite)
¿Cómo te llamas (tú)? = What is your name? (familiar or informal)
(Yo) me llamo Aiman. = My name is Aiman.

Hello Aiman,
I also am learning Spanish, I signed up to this website since only one week but I have found many kind users who read every post that I write in Spanish and correct my mistakes. In my opinion, one of the best ways to improve in whatever you are studying is to analyze your mistakes in order not to repeat them the following time.

So don't get discouraged, this site is very good for learning Spanish.

Buena suerte!!

This is very good. I have made some corrections of your Spanish for you, and some of them are (optional). If you do not understand some of the corrections, please ask about them and someone will be happy to help you.

Some words have an accent mark over a vowel (á, é, í, ó, ú), and the letter ñ (with a tilde ~ ) is a different letter than n.

When you are editing a message, the formatting menu above the edit box has a drop-down box named "Accents". It contains all of the letters that have special marks, and also the special punctuation symbols ¿, ¡, «, and ». To type one of these letters or punctuation marks, you can select it in the Accents list.

I got a translation to be patient but I can't find the word ten anywhere.
Is this an idiom or short form of tener?

thanks

"ten" -> imperative mood of "tener" for the second-person singular.

You may take a look at the conjugation here: http://www.tomisimo.org/conjugate/tener (Modo imperativo)
