You see, this is why I don't trust online translators and why I double-check everything.

So is "por cierto" interchangeable with "a propósito"?

Here's the context for "in fact". My friend told me that she hopes to be here for Christmas, and I want to say:

I actually really like the Christmas season. In fact, I read the book "A Christmas Carol" every year.

Here's what I've come up with:

En realidad, me gusta mucho la temporada de la Navidad. De hecho, leo el libro "Cuento de Navidad" cada año.

Is that correct? I feel like maybe there's some other verb form I'm supposed to be using for "leer" since it's an ongoing action, but maybe not.

Really? Hooray!!!!

It took me about an hour to figure that out. You have no idea how taxing it is to try to write one of these e-mails. Obviously my Spanish is barely even Level 1 kind of stuff. So it might take me half a day to finish a paragraph. It's a tremendous way to learn, though. It forces me to go out and research everything.
