I have always worked with languages and the result is the least that should have been expected, so perhaps it was not merit at all... but I loved it! ;)

How many language you know Angelica?

@Crotalito: De joven estudié inglés y francés. Ahora estudio alemán. Pero nunca he sido maestra. :)

Then for that reason you know a lot of about this language non native for you.

11,500 words, which sounds rather accurate. But it´s not nearly as high as you guys... :(

I wonder how my spanish vocabulary looks like? Maybe between 3-4000 words, I hope. Hopefully one day it will grow even bigger than my english vocabulary.

19,990 (21 yr old native speaker). I guess thats expected considering i never took an SAT or anything like it. I dont read novels either. :/ But still, i wonder how it calculates it.

I have made the test and well I have a result of around of 16 k words, I'm not happy with result already I need to learn more words which the estimation of a person of around 28 years old is more than 30 k words.

I was the worst of all here.

I'm not happy with result already I need to learn more words which the estimation of a person of around 28 years old is more than 30 k words..But that estimation is for a first language, not a second one. Despair not!

I was the worst of all here.

Most Native English adult speakers who have taken the test fall in the range 20,000–35,000 words.
And for foreign learners of English, we've found that the most common vocabulary size is from 2,500–9,000 words.


You are not the worst. I've only got 6,170. I win. :D
