Hey guys,

I remember when my mom used to study Spanish she watched the educational programs on TV. Is there anything like that that I can download off the Internet that you guys could recommend? Something that starts off the very beginnings because I am terrible at Spanish.

Also do you know about any advanced English grammar/vocabulary book that could help me improve? (I am not a native English speaker either)

Thanks <3

Thanks, Cheri. I can see why you like the first enlace.

Welcome to the forums, sparkling. Your English is pretty good, for it not being your native tongue. What is your native tongue?

My native tongue is Czech.Good to know. While it's true the Slavic languages don't have nearly as many Latin-based borrowings, you'll be able to recognize many Spanish words because of the English you've learned.

By the way, English and several other languages would truly miss these Czech loanwords: pistol, polka, robot
