This is the way some words are pronounced, with an Andalusian accent, in conversation. Obviously some people can pronounce them better, but you don't use to do it when speaking in Spanish.

Fun! thanks for sharing this, Don José!

This is the way some words are pronounced, with an Andalusian accent, in conversation. Obviously some people can pronounce them better, but you usually/generally don't use to do it when speaking in Spanish.

The expression "used to X" is a good translation for "solía", but it is strictly a past-tense expression. To convey the same idea in the present tense we use the simple present, often with an adverb of frequency (usually, generally, every afternoon, every week, etc.).

Online I always forget that people have accents. I use to play a game online and most people on our team were US but we had one from UK and another was from Bulgaria. When he would type in the forums. I would forget that he had an accent because he typed so well, but we would get on TeamSpeak and sometimes I could not understand what he was saying. I wonder when I'm able to speak Spanish more fluently if those whose native language is Spanish will think that about me. xD :D
