I´d prefer that you stayed with us or that you stay with us?Strictly, this is a choice between an imperfect or present subjunctive. Seeing that it refers to a possible future action, and the main verb is a present, then the present is correct. so stay, not stayed.
Having said that, both are used. :rolleyes::rolleyes:
