Is this a correct translation...thanks -

I think that the best thing about my last holiday was that my mum and me spent a lot of time together and did a lot of shopping. On the other hand, the worst thing about my last holiday was that there were no other teenagers, so I had to spend the whole holiday only with adults. It would have been nice if I could have spent time with some people my age.

Creo que lo mejor de mis últimas vacaciones era que mi madre y yo pasamos mucho tiempo juntas y hicimos mucha compra. Por otro lado, lo peor de mis últimas vacaciones era que no hubo otros adolescentes, así tuve pasar las vacaciones enteras sólo con adultos. Habría sido agradable si pudiera haber pasado el tiempo con algunas personas mi edad.

Creo que lo mejor de mis últimas vacaciones era (wrong tense) que mi madre y yo pasamos mucho tiempo juntas y (morphed to another sound and spelled differently when the next word begins with the 'i' sound) hicimos mucha(missing something here - start with next word to figure out what is missing) compra('shopping' is always plural in Spanish). Por otro lado, lo peor de mis últimas vacaciones era (wrong tense) que no hubo otros adolescentes, así (missing something here) tuve (missing something here - 'tener' <> 'have to') pasar las vacaciones enteras sólo con adultos. Habría (OK, but some would use the subjunctive here) sido agradable si pudiera haber pasado el (unnecessary) tiempo con algunas personas (missing something here) mi edad.I moved your request for a translation to the 'Practice & Homework' forum.
