Future Perfect

Hello. I am having trouble using the Future perfect - specifically with questions that include verbs ending in -se, lo, -la, -las.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Here are a few examples of what I am needing assistance with:

SR. PÉREZNo encuentro el currículum de Mario Gómez.SRTA. MARÍN ___________ (Tomarlo) la secretaria.

LAURA¿De dónde vienen estas ofertas de trabajo?ROMÁNNo estoy seguro. ________ (Salir) en el periódico de hoy


ROMÁN¿Has visto la lista nueva de aspirantes?LAURANo, ________(tú, ponerla) en el archivo.



I assume the answer for the second one is: habrá salido?

Your assumption is correct for the second one.

Suffixed pronouns are allowed on the infinitive and the imperative (poetic usage allows a few other options). Since you're conjugating into the future perfect, the pronouns will precede the conjugation.

Give the others a try with the additional information I just provided.
Then we'll have another look.

The pronoun isn't prefixed, so your first attempt isn't correct, and both the auxiliary verb and the past participle are considered to be the conjugated form of the verb in the compound tenses (the perfect tenses). So, when I said the pronoun precedes the conjugation, that means it should precede both parts of the verb.

Based on what I just stated, 'Lo habré tomado' would be correct, except that the subject of the sentence is incorrect. The ending you used is the first person form (yo). The subject isn't 'yo', it's 'la secretaria'. She's a third person. So, all you need to do to make it right is change the first person ending to the third person ending.

I think I follow now. So the answer to the first question would be 'lo habrá tomado' and the answer to the third question would be 'la habrá puesto'?

The answer to the third question is almost perfect. Check the subject and change the ending to agree with it. ;)

After recieving your help... I was able to do all the other questions in the assignment but one I cannot seem to figure it out.

The answer I came up with is: se habremos olvidado

Evidently, that is not correct?

On the one you couldn't figure out, you were close. You correctly conjugated the verb, but the pronoun isn't right.
'Olvidarse' is pronominal ('reflexive' may be the term you're used to hearing), so you need a reflexive pronoun out front that matches the subject (which is given as 'nosotros').
