I have just seen the Received Reputation section for the first time and I would like to know who writes the comments there.I hope this is not one of my many stupid questions...(funny face)

David should verify, but I think every member is allowed to write comments when they click the 'scales' icon (add to user's reputation), but not everyone chooses to write a comment. They can add to your reputation without writing something. If they do write something and they don't identify themselves, you don't know who has cheered you on.

Yes, that's exactly right Rusty. I personally try to sign the reputation comments I give, (Nice post! ~Tomisimo) but if you don't then the receiving person won't know who gave the reputation.
There's some more information about reputation here (http://forums.tomisimo.org/faq.php?faq=vb3_user_profile#faq_vb3_reputation).

Pity! I'm curious and all my comments are anonymous...:(

I just left you one that's not anonymous. :) As for the rest of them, there's nothing I can do :(

The little green boxes (http://forums.tomisimo.org/images/reputation/reputation_pos.gifhttp://forums.tomisimo.org/images/reputation/reputation_pos.gifhttp://forums.tomisimo.org/images/reputation/reputation_pos.gifhttp://forums.tomisimo.org/images/reputation/reputation_pos.gif) underneath your post count represent the amount of reputation you have. When someone goes past 100 points, it will go to 2 squares. :)
