I expressed in the text roleplay thread (http://forums.tomisimo.org/showthread.php?t=13565) my desire to try out a text-based roleplay. I figure just getting started is the best way to go.
Here's the guidelines:
You can choose to be any character you want, but I recommend either yourself or a famous character from media. You are in an introductory college Spanish class, and the teacher will not let you speak in English. We are starting on the second day of class. As the discussion goes on, you meet the other members of the class and have to tell people about yourself.
There's no rules on length. Just write what you think your character would say and do. Starting out very simple and working your way up is fine. You are welcome to play more than one character, but I would mark the top with the character's name or mention your character's name in each post.
If you wish to correct the grammar of another player's post or ask a question, please do so in a spoiler tag (the grey face with hand over eyes button on top right), so everything except this first post shows in as in character, or part of the story. I'm okay if you use a translator, but to get the most out of it, doing the translation process yourself will help. I'm also okay if you want to use an English word to teach or use as an example (see my first post). You can pretend to also play the teacher in your post, if you wish.

La maestra frunce el ceño. "En español, por favor."
"Lo siento, Maestra. Hola."
Would you be more likely to say "Entra en el salón de clases" or "Entra en la clase"?
